I brought myself some new Moyou London stuff for Christmas and part of that was a new stamper and scaper. My go-to stamper for the last year has been Moyou's Crystal Clear stamper and as much as I adore that I thought it was time to try something new, so I purchased the 3-in-1 Super Clear stamper. Now I have no idea which one out of the two I prefer. I couldn't pick to save my life.
The 3-in-1 Super Clear is awesome, as it says in the name it is usable in several different ways, the main way I use it is to use just the top part of the stamper as it's easier to see the design for me that way. The surface area of the Super Clear is smaller and rectangular, which is great because it's the perfect size and shape for the designs on most stamping plates. The stamper picks up and stamps design really easily and clearly.
If you are looking to buy a new stamper and scraper then I think the 3-in-1 Super Clear is a great option, just as amazing as the Crystal Clear.

If you've ever been on my blog before or any of my social media account then you'll be aware that I love anything mermaid/ocean relate... Literally, I'll buy almost anything if it has a mermaid, a fish or the ocean on it!
So when Moyou released these two new plates in their Sailor collection I brought them the second I could (I brought them as a Christmas present to myself).
The plates are Sailor 19 and Sailor 20, and they are both beautiful so I wanted to post some designs I created using both of these plates...

Today I have some designs to show you that I created using Born Pretty's A10 Poetry Journal stamping plate.
I absolutely adore this plate... It's got a lot of ocean/nautical themed and map style designs, which are my favorite and all the designs are really beautiful and super detailed. I first saw the plate when it was released as part of a 5-piece limited edition set (which is available for £14.35), and at the time it wasn't available individually. But as soon as I saw that you could buy it on its own, I knew I had to have it! The plate has 14 large, full-nail size designs.

Get ready for a picture heavy post, haha...
I use some sort of liquid latex / peel-off barrier basically every single time I do my nails, and I've been hunting for my perfect liquid latex for a while... I FOUNT IT!
I am completely in love with Born Pretty's Odor-Free Peel Off Liquid Latex.
I used to use a non-latex barrier (which is basically glue) and when I changed over to actual latex products I really started struggling with the smell of the products... Liquid latex isn't the most pleasant of scents in the world.
So I was super excited to try this liquid latex by Born Pretty solely because it was ODOR-FREE! And it totally is. It smells of nothing and it's wonderful!
This liquid latex comes in seven colours (the colour doesn't affect the product it's just a fun bonus choice to have, which I appreciate). I chose shade number 5, which is a neon yellow-green... I chose this become I thought it would be a fun change from the normal pink/white/blue shades most liquid latex's come in.
The liquid latex is in a standard 6ml Born Pretty bottle. It applies nicely and dries quite fast on the skin. It does dry slightly translucent, but only in certain areas and lighting, which to me is neither and good or bad thing, but if you're looking for something really opaque on the skin you may want to try a different shade. It peels off easily, in one piece and doesn't leave behind any residue.
If you are looking for a new liquid latex then I highly recommend trying this one!

I have tried a few black and white stamping polishes from different brands. Black and white stamping polishes are an essential thing to have for me because they are the colours I use the most, so I like to try any that I can to see how they perform.
I realised that I hadn't tried Born Pretty's black and white stamping polishes, so I decided to change that.
Born Pretty sell stamping polishes in seemingly endless shades and I've tried a few and really liked them so I wanted to try their black which is called Throne and their white which is called Pure.
The polishes are super opaque, as you would expect with stamping polishes. When applied like regular polish Throne is a one-coat polish, which Pure did need two, because one coat looked a little streaky (it was super close to being a one-coater though).
Using them to stamp was great, the designs pick up really well and clearly and they apply perfectly opaque designs onto the nail.
As they are really opaque they do tend to like to cling to the skin around the nail... Which is the case with pretty much all of the stamping polishes I own. So I would recommend using a liquid latex barrier when stamping with these two.
The bottle are 6ml each and are only £2.26 a bottle, which technically makes them the cheapest black and white stamping polishes I have in my collection... Which is awesome!
