Fur Effect Nails (Tutorial)
March 09, 2013
Fur is a fun and interesting nail effect, it's super easy to do (I'm doing it with my non-writing hand)!
What you'll need:
- Base Coat
- Nail fur
- A matching colour polish
- Piece of paper
- Tweezers
Do this over a piece of paper, or something to catch the excess fur.
Find a polish that matches or is similar to the colour of your fur.
Start by applying a base coat
Paint one nail at a time, a similar colour to the colour of the fur, once you have painted a nail, do not let it dry.
While the polish is wet, using tweezers (or fingers) pick up piles of fur and put them onto the nail, make sure the entire nail is covered.
Press the fur into the polish.
Then shake/brush off any excess fur.
(You may need to pile more fur on is once you shake off the excess there are gaps without fur.)
There is no need for a top coat. - TADA!
Cleaning up:
Pour any excess fur back into the pot.
