Cartoon Nails!
I am currently studying Animation so I absolutely adore anything to do with animation or cartoons!
These are so cute and so easy! They look great with both gloss and matte top coats!
What you'll need:
- Base coat
- Top coat (gloss or matte)
- One or several colour polishes
- White polish
- Black paint
- White paint
- Dotting tool
- Detail/striper brush
Start by applying base coat.
Paint you nails whatever colours you want.
Then using either black acrylic paint or black polish and a striper brush to outline all the way around you nails.
Add a small white dot on the lower section of one side of the nail.
Then paint a white curved line going down from near the top of the nail to just above the dot.
Finish with top coat.

Nail art based on my favourite movie, Lilo & Stitch.
Start by applying a layer of base coat to protect your nails.
Then paint your index finger white, and the rest of your finger a bright red.
For the index (white) nail.
Using a bright blue acrylic paint, paint the shape of Stitch's head and chest.
Then use a slightly dark blue paint for a nose.
Using a lighter, pale blue paint, add an eye shape and fill in a small part of his chest.
Using a black paint, fill in part of the centre of the eye.
Again using the black paint, outline his: eye, head, nose and chest. (Adding small details like fuzzy chest, small piece of head hair, and a crease above his nose.)
Then finally add other small details: black line on his nose, black eyebrow, and white 'shiny' dot in his eye.
For the rest of the (red) nails.
Use white paint to outline the pattern form Lilo's dress.
Fill the pattern in using white paint.
Then add a small red line through the middle of each pattern.
Finish all the nails off with top coat.
This watch the video of me painting these nails:
