I have been waiting to play around with this plate for a while and I was so excited to finally get it! This plate from Beauty Big Bangs is letter/writing themed and I love it!
It has a variety of styles of lettering, including the full alphabet in bold capital letters which are great for reserve stamping! This is the first plate I've owned with this much lettering so I have loved using it. As well as the individual letters, there are several full nail sized design featuring lettering and a few smaller designs with different words and phrases.
Outside of my nail stuff, I'm a writer, so I love anything related to writing, words, letters, etc! This plate is definitely a favourite of mine now.

Today I have swatches of three of Beauty Big Bangs' newest stamping polish shades. They release six new shades in total and I was super excited because I really like Beauty Big Bangs' stamping polishes.
Lemon Yellow
While the name is Lemon, I'd consider it more of a mustard shade of yellow — although it is brighter over a white base than when on its own. I love yellow polishes and this is no exception. This is a very different shade from their previous yellow stamping polish (which is light and brighter). This polish will look lovely as a base for fall/autumn nails.
My swatch is two coats, no top coat — although if you use thinner coats, or have longer nails, you may need three coats. This polish dries with a much glossier finish that a lot of other Beauty Big Bangs' stamping polish.
This polish stamps great over white and other light shades. Although it isn't as opaque over darker colours.
Fruit Orange
This is the first orange stamping polish I've owned — how have I gone this long without an orange?! It's bright and vibrant, perfect for summer.
My swatch is two coats, no top coat. Like Lemon Yellow, it dries with a glossy finish and is a beautiful orange shade. Also like Lemon Yellow, this shade is perfect for stamping over white and lighter shades, but doesn't show up quite as opaque over some darker colours.
Peacock Blue
I am obsessed with the polish! I love teal shades and this is the first dark teal stamping polish I've owned. It's perfect for all year round and is dark and opaque which makes it a great choice for the outline of designs if you're reverse stamping!
My swatch is two coats, no top coat. This polish dries duller — which is the most common finish for stamping polishes from Beauty Big Bangs.
I'm hoping to try the other three newer shades of Beauty Big Bangs' stamping polishes soon too!
You can buy these shades for £2.82 each here…

I was so excited to buy these four new shades in Barry M's Gelly range. I love Barry M Gelly polishes and I knew as soon as I saw swatches of these on Instagram that I needed them in my polish collection! These four polishes are bright and perfect for summer... I can already tell that I'm going to be using these A LOT over the next few months.
All of the swatches are two coats with no top coat (the designs have Barry M's Matte top coat).
First up is Banana Split. This is the polish I was most looking forward to getting out of the four — and it did not disappoint! I love the colour yellow and Barry M doesn't release yellow polishes that often so I was super happy there was a yellow in this release. This is a really great yellow polish — a lot of yellow shades can be quite sheer/streaky, but this isn't at all — it's lovely to apply and only needed two coats.
Second is Pink Grapefruit. I didn't initially think I'd like this polish as much as I do — pinks are sometimes a hit or miss thing for me — but I actually really love this shade. It's a really pretty coral pink shade, perfect for summer.
Next is Tangerine. After using this polish I've decided I don't wear orange polishes enough — I neglect the colour orange! This shade is super bright and vibrant and is absolutely perfect for summer (will also be great when it comes time for Halloween too).
Lastly is Blueberry Muffin. What can I say? Other than, I LOVE teal polishes! I don't recall ever having met a teal polish I didn't want to be friends with... And this polish is no different. It photographs very blue, though IRL it does lean towards being a teal shade — my camera did NOT like capturing this shade. Perfect for a mermaid/beach mani this summer.
I also tested each of these polishes to see how well they work for stamping, I stamped a design over a white base and all four of them worked great!
